At BTL UK, we employ skilled & experienced staff for certain roles within our Production department. Many employees have joined BTL over the years, unskilled, in specific areas and join departments as beginners.
Some have developed and progressed into management positions. They are now working with a teams of their own. For example, our company Finance Director started working with us working as a warehouse operative. So, if you have the right attitude and apply yourself to the role that you have, you show determination and commitment, then anything is possible! CNC Lathe Machine Setter /Operator
BTL-UK LTD is a UK manufacturer and international distributor of Bearings, Power Transmission and Motion Transfer Linkages. We produce items for some of the world’s well-known brands such as JCB, New Holland Tractors, Volvo and John Deere, under our licenced brand name of DUNLOP.

Due to continued expansion, we now require an experienced CNC Lathe Machine Setter / Operator to join our busy production department. You will have experience in a production environment, be used to working to high levels of accuracy and productivity and have a good understanding of quality management systems and procedures such as ISO9001 & ISO14001.
Skills Required
• Being highly technical and thorough
• Being professional and proficient
• Understanding manufacturing processes
• Working in all areas of the production department
• Planning and prioritising activities
• Understanding engineering, scientific and other technical information
• Making smart decisions
• Resolving problems in an efficient manner
• Applying health and safety practices
CNC milling and Manual machining would be an advantage although not essential. The successful applicant would be joining a very friendly team working 8.00am to 5.00pm, 28 days annual leave entitlement per annum including all bank holidays. Company contributory Pension scheme. Pay is negotiable depending upon experience.
